וַיְגַדֵּ֨ל יְהוָ֤ה אֶת־שְׁלֹמֹה֙ לְמַ֔עְלָה לְעֵינֵ֖י כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיִּתֵּ֤ן עָלָיו֙ ה֣וֹד מַלְכ֔וּת אֲ֠שֶׁר לֹֽא־הָיָ֧ה עַל־כָּל־מֶ֛לֶךְ לְפָנָ֖יו עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ (פ)
Yang Mahakekal sangat membesarkan Salomo di mata seluruh Israel, dan mengaruniakan kepadanya keagungan kerajaan yang belum pernah dimiliki oleh raja mana pun sebelum dia di Israel.

and He bestowed upon him such regal majesty The meaning is: He bestowed upon him royal favor; an example of this is (Num. 27:20): “And you shall bestow some of your majesty (מֵהוֹדְךָ) upon him,” that everyone said, “This one is fit.” And in Daniel (11:21) it says: “And a contemptible person will stand on his base, upon whom they have not bestowed regal majesty.”
